Cartons are opened and refilled by hand next to the machine

Mid-afternoon in the packaging room. The cartoner is running and bottles move along its belt. Beside it, on a steel table, something else is going on: opened cartons, blisters out of their sleeves, piles of loose leaflets and bottles in a blue crate. A person in a blue gown puts a bottle into a carton by hand. IRIS sees packaging being opened and refilled off the machine, and compares it with the rework window.

What IRIS understands

What it recognises in this scene

  • carton being filled by hand
  • blisters out of their sleeves
  • cartons opened on the table
  • loose leaflets in piles
  • cartoner belt still running

What this camera measures

An alert says something is happening. The reading says how much.

  • 7cartons opened on the table
  • 14blisters out of their sleeves
  • 40loose leaflets in sight
  • 18 minsince the first carton was opened
  • 17:35time of the alert

The figures on this screen are an example from the illustration, not any client's measurement.

The rule

You decide once. IRIS applies it always.

If

packaging is opened or refilled by hand off the line with no rework open

Then

  1. alert the packaging supervisor with the camera and the time
  2. save the video of the table from the first carton opened
  3. record how many cartons and how many packs were handled by hand
The instruction that set it up«Tell me if cartons are opened or packs refilled by hand off the cartoner without authorised rework.»

What changes

What changes for whoever answers for the plant

Packaging has a circuit: the carton is formed, filled and closed in the machine, and everything is counted. What is opened and redone on a table shows up in no counter at all. With the camera, that table stops being a blind spot: the time, the number of cartons opened and the video are all there. If it was authorised rework, the image confirms it in a minute. If it was not, you know the same day and not through a complaint.

What people usually ask

Can IRIS detect a falsified medicine?

No. A camera does not analyse a tablet or verify a pack against a register. What it sees is the action: cartons being opened and packs refilled by hand off the line. That is the point where product from outside the circuit gets in, and that is where it alerts, with the time and the video.

What if the rework is authorised?

Then there is no alert. The plant defines when a carton may be opened and on which table. IRIS compares the action with that window: if the rework is open, the scene is normal. If it is not, it alerts while it is happening. What counts as normal is decided by the plant, not by the camera.

What evidence is left of what happened on that table?

The video of the table from the first carton opened, the exact time and the count of cartons, blisters and leaflets in sight. With that, the investigation starts at one specific minute instead of eight hours of footage. It is an image record, not a quality verdict.

The real interface, step by step

We won't just tell you. We'll show you.

It is a summary of the real screen: it plays by itself, step by step, and shows only the path of one case. The actual tool has far more than fits in here.

  1. You ask
  2. IRIS searches
  3. It shows you

And the best part

A whole afternoon in front of a screennow fits into one written sentence.

The video has not changed: it is all still there, in the same place. What has changed is that you can ask it questions, and the answer comes with its camera and its time.

Tell us your problem and we will say whether IRIS understands it, or not yet.

We reply the same working day.
