What changes
What changes for whoever answers for the plant
A badly gowned entry turns up later: in a video review, or when somebody opens a deviation and the batch is left in doubt. With the camera, the room supervisor finds out while the person is still in front of the door, with the picture and the missing item. And at the end of the month there is a number: how many incomplete entries there were, on which shift and at which door. That is no longer an impression, it is a count.

Does IRIS identify the person who goes in without full gowning?
No. IRIS does not recognise faces and does not match anyone against a list. It sees that a person has reached the door with no mask and no overshoes, and that is what it reports: the missing item, the camera and the time. Who it was comes from the plant access control or from whoever reviews the video. In a gowning room that difference matters twice as much, which is why the rule is written this way.
Can a camera check every item of the gowning?
No. Only the ones visible in the shot: hood, mask, goggles, gloves, gown and overshoes. What cannot be seen is not checked. A camera does not know whether the gown came out of the autoclave sterile or whether the gloves were disinfected before going through. That is held up by the procedure and by the plant controls; IRIS adds the visual check and the exact minute.
Does the alert arrive before the person goes through the door?
Yes, if the camera covers the area before the door, as it does here. The rule leans on a floor line drawn by the plant, and the alert goes out while the person is still in front of the door, not once they are inside. IRIS predicts nothing: it sees what the person is wearing at that moment. Whether to let them through is the plant decision, not the camera.
