What changes
What changes for whoever answers for the plant
A rodent at four in the morning is either seen by a camera or by nobody at all. Until now the first sign is usually a dropping found days later, when nobody knows any more where it got in. IRIS warns while the animal is still crossing, with the exact spot and the image. That gives the manager two things he does not have today: the hour and the place. With those, that door, that dock and that pallet get checked. IRIS does not replace the pest control plan: it gives it eyes.

Does IRIS replace the pest control plan?
No. The plan stays exactly as it is: the traps, the inspections, the bait points and the documented record. What IRIS adds is a warning that something has just happened, with the camera and the exact minute. A trap tells you something was there; the camera tells you when and where it came through. They are different things and they complement each other: the camera is not a census, and the trap does not warn you at the time.
Does it detect small insects?
It depends on how much of the image it takes up, and that is worth saying plainly. A rodent, a bird or a cat in a warehouse show up well. An insect is only detected if it covers enough pixels: close to the camera and in good light, yes; twenty metres away, no. That is why pest alerts are set up at the points where they are needed — docks, doors, dispatch — and not as blanket coverage of the whole plant.
And at night, with the warehouse dark?
Yes, as long as the camera can see. Normal working light is enough; in dark areas you need a camera built for low light or with infrared. The detection works the same way — what changes is the image reaching it. It is an installation decision taken point by point, and it is tested before it is signed off.
