It is what separates ordinary maintenance from an electrical accident. Then an alert goes off and a person closes it in seconds. That is why the padlock place is defined when the rule is set up: if it always goes in the same spot and that spot is visible, the alert stops firing for nothing.
Does it work as a record for an audit?
Yes, as visual evidence. Every alert stores the camera, the time and the video of the opening. It does not replace the signed lockout record: it goes with it, adding the image of the exact minute.
