These things do not happen in the middle of the court. They happen in the corner nobody can see from where the duty teachers stand, which is why the team finds out late and almost always from parents. What changes here is the timing: an adult who walks over while it is happening changes the situation; the same adult hearing about it on Thursday does not. The alert goes into no file and points at nobody: it goes to somebody crossing the yard and standing there. What happens next is decided by the people at the school, who are the ones who know those children.

No, and calling it that would be a lie. Bullying is a pattern that repeats over time, with intent behind it and real harm, and that is judged by a trained person talking to the children, the families and the rest of the class. A camera sees none of it. What IRIS sees is a situation with a shape: a closed circle around somebody, in a specific corner, for a while, and that same corner coming up again. That is a checkable fact and it is the only thing that can be claimed. It could be an argument, it could be a game, it could be something worse: the person who walks over tells the difference. That is why there is no label here — none about whoever is inside the circle, none about whoever forms it — and why the box is drawn around the whole group and never around one child. There is an alert so an adult goes over, and that is where it ends.
Does the camera say who did what?
No. It does not, and it cannot. IRIS does not identify any minor: it does not recognise faces, it does not compare them against any database and it does not store who anyone is. What is never done is filing «that circle» as a black mark against anyone, because it is not one. And it is worth remembering where there is no camera: not in classrooms, not in toilets, not in changing rooms.
