What changes
What changes for whoever answers for the plant
Swapped cement is invisible: it turns up on site, with the concrete already poured. Then somebody has to reconstruct which truck, at what time and from which silo, and there is almost never any footage. With the camera, the dispatch manager has the minute the tanker parked, the silo the chute came from and the video of the connection. The job is stopped before the truck crosses the weighbridge, while it still costs little.
What people usually ask
Does IRIS know what product is inside the tanker?
No. A camera sees where the truck is and which chute it connected to, not what is inside the tank. Cement quality is settled by a laboratory test. What IRIS adds is proof of the manoeuvre: which silo the tanker parked under, at what time and for how long. That is enough to stop a job before it leaves the gate.
What if one truck loads from two silos on purpose?
You write that into the rule and it is done. IRIS does not decide what counts as a mistake: the plant does. If an order allows two silos, the rule names both and stays quiet. If it allows one, the first mismatch raises an alert. Rules change the day the procedure changes, and each change is logged with its date.
Is the driver identified?
No. IRIS does not recognise faces or match them against any list. It detects situations: «a tanker parked under the grey silo on a white cement order». Who was driving comes from the delivery note and the dispatch system, not from the image. The camera supplies the exact time and the video; the conversation is had by a person.
